Tirtha on working with Ankita Lokhande
Tirrtha emphasized, “My character, Yesu Vahini, and Ankita Lokhande’s character, Yamuna Bai, are part of the same family in the film. Yamuna Bai is Veer Savarkar’s wife, while Yesu Vahini is Veer Savarkar’s brother, Babarau’s wife. This close-knit family survived the plague together, and when Yamuna Bhai joined in, it became even more balanced and cohesive. Additionally, there is Narendra. These five individuals form a family resembling any well-functioning family. Developing a good off-screen relationship was essential for Ankita and me. Fortunately, she was quite friendly on set. Since we had many scenes together, we ended up spending a lot of time chatting, which was enjoyable and cherishing.”
