While talking to News18, Boney Kapoor opened up on how Salman Khan influenced Arjun Kapoor to take up acting. He also talked about whether Arjun and Salman’s relationship dynamic has affected his bond with the Tiger 3 actor. In the interview, Boney reveals, even if he had separated from his first wife. Mona Shourie Kapoor, he never thought Arjun would want to take up acting. That is until Salman Khan called him and told him that Arjun would be an actor. Boney shares that Salman took it up on himself and saw to it that Arjun became an actor.
Boney Kapoor adds that Salman made Arjun lose weight. He shares he will give credit to the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor where Arjun is concerned. The filmmaker adds, “Whatever said and done, today their equation might not be that good but he gave him his best (with regard to) Arjun. His growth was influenced by Salman.”

The Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar actor was asked if Arjun and Salman’s equation has affected his bond with Salman. He says it has not. Boney adds that he still loves Salman and praises him for his big and warm heart. He gushed about how Salman always meets everyone including him with love. He reveals that Salman always gives him respect and he loves him.
