The Emergency actress began the nepotism row years ago when she appeared on Koffee With Karan. The actress called out Karan and also the star kids. Most specifically, Alia Bhatt. Kangana slammed Alia calling her mediocre and whatnot. Randeep Hooda who worked with Alia and Kangana as well, defended the former against the latter’s attacks. And now, he has yet again come out in support of Alia.

Randeep Hooda opens up on Kangana Ranaut slamming Alia Bhatt amid nepotism row

Kangana Ranaut had mocked Alia Bhatt‘s performance in Gully Boy. The actor came to Alia’s defence on X (Formerly Twitter). He praised Alia for not letting the opinions of other actors affect her and her work and asked her to continue doing the same. He was asked about the same recently, reports Indian Express. Randeep Hooda shares that he developed a spiritual bond with Alia after they worked in Highway. He cannot speak for her but shares his feelings adding that he has noticed how Alia always tries new and different things. He felt that Alia was unfairly targetted and hence, he decided to step up for her.

Elaborating on the same, the Swatantrya Veer Savarkar actor adds, “To target your fellow actors or your colleagues or your fraternity over things that you feel you did not get, even though I think you did got a lot from this industry, it’s just unbecoming.” Randeep felt that he should take a stand and hence, he did.

Back then Alia had felt grateful to Randeep for taking a stand for her. She replied to his tweet with a heart emoticon.

Meanwhile, in other news, Kangana is foraying into politics. She will be running for BJP from her hometown, Mandi. The actress has been criticizing Congress for a while now. She recently called out Rahul Gandhi and the party for their tactics in pulling down Mandi and BJP.
