As per a report in DNA, Filmmaker Blessy started work on The Goat Life in 2008. The movie is based on a best-selling novel named Aadujeevitham by Benyamin. While the work had began, the filmmaker could not find a producer under 2015. The scripting work had began and Prithviraj Sukumaran was signed for the leading role. However, there were budget constrains and Prithviraj Sukumaran had to forgo his fees. And then came COVID. In 2018 the principal photography work began. The story of The Goat Life is about a man who goes to Saudi Arabia to earn money but is forced to works as a goatherd. The shooting of the same took place in Jordan. As the pandemic hit in 2020, the shooting came to a halt. In fact, the report suggest that the team was even stranded in the dessert of Jordan and only after a few weeks, the team returned to India. After the pandemic, the makers started shooting again in 2022 and now the film has finally released in the theatres.

Fans of Prithviraj Sukumaran have waited long for this film but it seems that the wait was worth it. His character’s emotional journey has left everyone touched. His transformation too has left the audiences impressed.

Apart from The Goat Life, Prithviraj Sukumaran is looking forward to the release of Hindi film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. He plays a dreaded villain in this film that has Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff as soldiers.
