EXCLUSIVE: Actor, writer, director, producer Tosin Morohunfola has signed with ColorCreative for management.
Morohunfola will next be seen starring opposite Shannon Thornton in Tyler Perry’s upcoming drama feature Joy Ridge at Amazon MGM Studios.
His numerous television credits include recurring roles on Starz’s Run the World, Max’s Julia, Showtime’s The Chi and NBC’s Chicago Med. He also recently had a key recurring role as Jackson ‘Jackrabbit’ Cole in Taylor Sheridan’s Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
Additional film credits include Amazon’s Blackbox opposite Phylicia Rashad, Oscar winner Kevin Willmott’s The 24th, which was nominated for a NAACP Image award, the bromantic comedy North of the 10, erotic thriller, Friend Request, and BET’s romantic comedy Always A Bridesmaid. Up next, he’ll also co-star in the heist film 1992 with Ray Liotta and Tyrese Gibson.
Morohunfola also wrote and directed Endowed, a parable on fatherhood, as well as the 2016 short On Sight, a social justice police thriller. His most recent feature thriller, The Pulpit, is in development. Morohunfola’s writing and filmmaking centers on stories of empathy, awareness, belonging and seeing the human as hero in the face of institutional opposition.
