For the unversed, Akshara and Abhimanyu had a son named Abir. Post the leap, he is nowhere to be seen. But latest reports had it that Mrunal Jain will enter Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Abir and be Abhira’s brother. But well, that is not the case. Mrunal Jain has broken his silence on these rumours. He has clearly stated that he is not entering Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. To India Forums, he clarified and said, “I am not joining ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’ I am currently working on something else. It’s surprising how people write without verifying or confirming.” Back in 2022, Mrunal Jain played the role of Dr. Kunal Khera in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. He was Abhimanyu’s doctor. But well it is now clear that Mrunal Jain is not going to re-enter Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Abir.

In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, currently the fans are quite hooked onto the story of Abhira and Armaan. They were sort of forced to marry as it was Akshara’s dying wish. However, they now seem to have developed feelings for each other. They have decided that they will part ways after one year of marriage but with their growing closeness, fans don’t seem that to be happening.
