Will Janhvi Kapoor rule the South film industry like mother Sridevi? Boney Kapoor shares his views

When asked if he believes Janhvi Kapoor will rule the industry like her mother Sridevi, Boney Kapoor said, ”No one in this country can have the command or hold that Sridevi had. Janhvi is her daughter; she can come close to it, as of now, from what I can see. But it’s extremely difficult to achieve what she did in five different languages: Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi. Sridevi was just fabulous; there is nobody like her, and there will be nobody like her.” Also Read – Devara star Janhvi Kapoor’s neo-classical house is filled with luxury and elegant interiors

Praising Sridevi’s remarkable acting abilities as an actor, Boney further added, ”Imagine, Sridevi only studied till the 4th standard, but despite that, she could converse in five different languages. Acting in five languages and conversing so smoothly is certainly not easy, especially for someone not highly educated. Imagine how sharp her mind was. In fact, the handbag gesture which she used to do in English Vinglish, she picked up from one of her aunts. She used to collect all these small details in her mind and use them when required in specific scenes.”

Sridevi was truly the ultimate pan-India star, reigning in both the South and Hindi film industries. She had an impeccable command of all languages and was often hailed as the female superstar of both Hindi and South cinema.
