What We're Looking For:

RuffleButts is looking to add a Sr Data Analyst who is responsible for data architecture, analysis, reporting, and documentation of web properties, paid media, and our ecommerce solution stack to identify actionable insights for revenue. This person will manage EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), operationalize and democratize data / reporting across the organization, deliver insights and actions to the respective business owners, and build predictive models using machine learning techniques. This person needs to be a team player with a who is passionate about results, has an overwhelming amount of curiosity, and can work with other teams to deliver valuable data from a variety of sources. This person will be tasked with building and managing a portfolio of reporting and dashboards that shape the way the organization manages, visualizes, and derives insights around digital engagements.

To Summarize, You Will:

• Analyze transactional and behavioral data to report and provide actionable insights that drive revenue for the business.
• Manage existing and create new data flows associated with the EDW
• Operationalize and democratize data to all aspects of the business, documenting all transformations and data elements, and train internal team members accordingly
• Standardize reporting views across all business owners via Tableau
• Partner with Marketing leadership to provide detailed insights and recommended optimizations based on performance data.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to optimize the customer experience
• Provide detailed analysis supporting segmentation and funnel optimization
• Manage the collection of behavioral data via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Communicate insights and actions across all levels of the organization through presentations and ongoing written documentation

• 5+ years total relevant experience, including data analytics, business intelligence, or marketing analytics role preferred
• Strong communication skills, and ability to use analytics to understand and drive the business
• Strong SQL skills required
• Knowledge of business intelligence and visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio, Looker, Domo, PowerBI)
• Expert level knowledge of Excel, including experience with the use of pivot tables, charting, and external data connections
• Solid Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
• Strong knowledge of Python and other modeling software
• Experience in building various types of predictive models (linear models, time series, cluster model, forecast model, etc.)
• Good experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management tools
• Experience with NetSuite/Magento/Klaviyo platforms is a plus
